A Message from the Grand Jury
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge the level of dedication, preparation, and sincerity demonstrated across your performances. Many of you showed not only solid musicianship, but also a genuine connection to the music—an essential quality that cannot be manufactured. That authenticity is something to value and continue developing.
Music is not merely a technical exercise; it is a language. Allow yourself the freedom to communicate through it. Be bold in your choices, shape phrases with intention, and let your ideas come through naturally rather than holding back. The more you permit yourself to “speak” through the music, the more compelling and personal your performances will become.
At the same time, continue refining your technical foundation. A secure technique gives you the control and flexibility needed to fully express your musical ideas. However, technique alone is not the goal—it is the tool. True artistry lies in balancing precision with imagination, structure with spontaneity.
For those who are still developing in areas such as tonal control, phrasing, or interpretative depth, this is entirely part of the process. Progress in music is gradual and cumulative. What matters most is that you remain engaged, curious, and willing to explore beyond what is comfortable.
To those who may not have advanced this time, this is not a conclusion—it is simply one moment within a much larger trajectory. Music is a lifelong pursuit. Growth continues over years, even decades, and every experience contributes to that evolution. What matters is that you continue: continue learning, continue performing, continue sharing.
We encourage all of you to keep making music—not only for achievement, but for expression, connection, and meaning. Your work has the ability to move others, to communicate beyond words, and to inspire those who listen.
We sincerely hope you will carry this forward, deepen your artistry, and continue to share your voice with the world.
